Easter egg hunt
The Easter holiday celebration kicked off around the county Saturday with several egg hunts. Above, parents assist children in the age one to three category during a hunt at Aperion Healthcare in Bridgeport. There will be a city-wide egg hunt Saturday at 2 p.m. in Lawrenceville City Park. The event is sponsored by the city and the Parent-Teacher Association.

National Park movie night set
VINCENNES - The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park will be the site of three movies next week.

In honor of National Park Week, the public is invited to watch "The Challenge of Yellowstone," "Grand Canyon: A Journey of Wonder" and "The Battle of Horseshoe Bend" at 6:30 p.m. (EST) on April 23 at the park's visitor center, 401 S. 2nd St.

Uniform survey on Unit 20 website
LAWRENCEVILLE - During the March Unit 20 school board meeting, some interested parents expressed an interest in creating a school uniform.

Superintendent Doug Daugherty said the district has created an on-line survey for parents to complete. Parents are urged to go to the website, survey.cusd20.com, or to stop by the school to complete a survey.
