Bridgeport council moves forward without quorum
 | BRIDGEPORT - The Bridgeport City Council met on Tuesday at Bridgeport City Hall in a meeting that was rescheduled from April 10 due to a lack of a quorum. Ironically, the council had the same number of members report on Tuesday as it did on April 10. The meeting continued under the advisement of city attorney Mike Neal who informed Mayor Michael Crask that he was able to cast the fourth vote needed to approve any business the city wishes to discuss. Neal noted the votes had to be unanimous as it takes four votes to pass an ordinance. |

| Lawrenceville's comeback in vain as Vincennes Lincoln wins, 10-6 | VINCENNES, Ind. - After winning four out of its last five games, the Lawrenceville High School softball team (5-3 entering play) had the disservice of playing against Vincennes-Lincoln on its own turf. Despite falling behind 8-0, the Lady Indians made a late push to make things interesting, but ultimately fell to the Lady Alices, 10-6. | |
