| Daniel Lusk gets a little help from his assistant rabbit during his magic show at the Lawrence County Public Library’s reading program event. Lusk is a Lawrenceville native and a 1997 LHS graduate and is now a full-time professional entertainer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lusk combined magic, education, and humor in his routine. The next library reading program will be Animal Tales - “Animal Avengers” on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the library’s basement community room. |
|St. Francisville fireworks, fish fry postponed until July 25|
| ST. FRANCISVILLE - With the Wabash River out of its banks and flooding River Park, the St. Francisville Community Improvement Corporation has been forced to postpone its annual fish fry and fireworks display.|
Organizers said the festivities, scheduled for Saturday, have been rescheduled for July 25 at River Park.
The fish fry will be from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and include catfish dinners, fish sandwiches, hamburgers and more.
In addition to the fish fry, a fireworks display will be held over the Wabash River at dusk. People are urged to bring their lawn chairs.
Other activities during the day will include a 1 p.m. Corn Hole tournament and music.

|Salukis' Holtz chosen to play in WVCA All-Star game|
|TERRE HAUTE, Indiana - Tristan Holtz will put on a football helmet one last time later this week.|
A 2015 Red Hill High School graduate, Holtz will play for the Black Team Saturday in the annual Wabash Valley Coaches Association All-Star football game. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST at Memorial Stadium on the campus of Indiana State University.
Holtz is the only Lawrence County player who will play in this year's contest. Lawrenceville High School is no longer a member of the WVFCA.
