Delts Holiday Home Tour to benefit community projects
LAWRENCEVILLE - "There's No Place Like Home For the Holidays." With that in mind, four Lawrence County homes and three businesses will be featured in the 2012 Delta Theta Tau Holiday Home Tour.

The annual event is set for noon until 5 p.m. Sunday. As always, proceeds will be used by the sorority for local philanthropic projects.

This year's lineup includes the Gene and Jerri Allen home in northwest Lawrence County, and three Lawrenceville residences - the Jim and Rae Wampler home, the Joe Joles, Candy Joles and Brian Schuh home, and the Sarah Taylor home.

Three Lawrenceville businesses are also features - Cuttin' Up Salon and Spa, Essentials Cards and Gifts, and The Finishing Touch Gallery.

Tickets, which are $10, are being sold at Essentials and Cuttin' Up and the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

Delta Theta Tau members pointed out that the homes may be toured in any order. Smoking is not permitted, people are asked not to park in driveways and stocking feet are recommended when touring the homes. Shoe covers will be provided if needed.
