Another Dine With A Doc scheduled for April 5
LAWRENCEVILLE - Dr. Larry Lilly, author of "Outrageious Forgiveness in 30 Days," will be the guest speaker of this month's Lawrence County Dine With A Doc program.

Dine With A Doc is set for 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. April 5 at the Lawrence County Senior Citizens Center located at 1705 12th Street in Lawrenceville.

Dine With A Doc is a free program that welcomes the local senior public to getting to hear an educational topic while enjoying a complimentary lunch.

This program is a community effort of a doctor, a lunch sponsor, the senior citizens, local churches and area businesses coming together for the good of all to serve the senior citizens.

Larry Lilly was born in Havre de Grace, Md. Sept. 13, 1941. He is the fifth of nine children. He was educated in the Cecil County school system to the consternation of many teachers. Additional studies at Maryland Bible Institute, Doctor of Divinity Faith Seminary (Honorary).

Lilly is in his 47th year of marriage to the former Joyce Gore, they have four children, Jeanne (Frank) Jennifer, Dawn, and Dr. Jonathan Lilly (Stephanie). He has pastored churches for 49 years, served in Kiwanis clubs, President of Premier Toastmasters, and is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. He currently publishes a daily Internet letter; the monthly printed Larry Lilly's Journal featuring help for prisoners and also conducts extensive correspondence with prisoners on Death Row. The prison ministry is an offshoot of his own experience in Federal Prison.

In 2011 his book "Outrageous Forgiveness In 30 Days" was published by West Bow Press.

"Outrageous Forgiveness in 30 Days" will encourage releasing the burden of bitterness against those who sin against you. When Christians start forgiving others as Jesus taught, the world will be the beneficiary of the greatest revival in history.

Lilly has been the pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Terre Haute, Ind., since June of 1990.

The complementary meal is provided by ARCH Active Recovery Center of Olney.
