UMV closing food pantry, coat closet; giveaway set
LAWRENCEVILLE - United Methodist Village officials have decided to disband its food pantry and coat closet at the main facility in Lawrenceville.

UMV Marketing Director Jamie Tussey said all of the coats from the coat closet will be given away Oct. 17 and 18.

Tussey said the coat giveaway is open to the public and will be from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the west parking lot, behind UMV and near the school. In the event of inclement weather, the coat giveaway will be held in the community center, which was previously the Daycare.

All coats, of all sizes, will be given away on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
