Water line flushing begins today
LAWRENCEVILLE - The city of Lawrenceville began flushing distribution water lines today and will continue the process throughout the week.

Water Superintendent Bruce Laslie said customers in the city may experience discolored water.

"The discoloration should be contained to the areas where the flushing is in progress, but all customers should check water before doing laundry," Laslie said. "The city of Lawrenceville is sorry for any inconvenience, but the flushing of the lines helps reduce the possibility of discolored water throughout the rest of the year."
