Lawrenceville's comeback in vain as Vincennes Lincoln wins, 10-6
VINCENNES, Ind. - After winning four out of its last five games, the Lawrenceville High School softball team (5-3 entering play) had the disservice of playing against Vincennes-Lincoln on its own turf. Despite falling behind 8-0, the Lady Indians made a late push to make things interesting, but ultimately fell to the Lady Alices, 10-6.

BRIDGEPORT - How many runs can a team score in a single inning? The Red Hill High School softball team put that question to the test on Tuesday evening as it batted around (and then some) to score 13 runs in the fourth inning alone to beat Cisne, 15-5.

BRIDGEPORT - The Red Hill High School baseball team finally got the monkey off its back on Saturday as it cruised to an 8-0 victory over Hutsonville at home, the team's first win of 2018

FLORA - The threat of weather-related cancellation loomed over Wednesday's track meet in Flora due to the rain, but a decision was made to nix the throwing and jumping events, and call it good after the running events. Red Hill, Lawrenceville, Oblong, Palestine-Hutsonville and the homestanding Flora Wolves were in attendance. Red Hill and Lawrenceville finished first and second, respectively, in the girls meet, while Lawrenceville edged out Red Hill for third place in the boys meet.
Lawrenceville gives up early big inning, loses to Sullivan, 15-0
LAWRENCEVILLE - After coming off a 4-3 win over the county rival Red Hill Lady Salukis, the Lawrenceville High School softball team hosted Sullivan, Indiana on Friday evening and lost by a final score of 15-0.
LAWRENCEVILLE - On Thursday evening the Red Hill High School softball team made its way across the county to face the homestanding Lawrenceville Lady Indians in a cross-county match-up that would prove to be a thrilling game down to the very end. When all was said and done, Lawrenceville stood victorious, winning by a final score of 4-3.
LHS drops first game of season against Flora, 7-1
LAWRENCEVILLE - The Lawrenceville High School baseball team kicked off the 2018 season on Friday at home against the Flora Wolves. The Tribe would score in the first inning, but would be held scoreless for the remainder of the game and go on to lose, 7-1.

LAWRENCEVILLE - The weather is certainly not indicative, but the spring season begins in under a week, and with that comes a whole new wave of sports around the Little Illini Conference. Among the teams setting the table for the 2018 season is Lawrenceville High School's softball team, under the direction of Randy Lynch for the second time.

LAWRENCEVILLE - The Lawrenceville High School girls basketball team finished the year at 10-18 following a 51-34 regional loss against Fairfield in Tad Shick's first year as head coach of the team. It may not have ended on a good note, but it was a successful season nonetheless.
